Celebrity Hairstyles: The Paul Mescal Mini Mullet

I’m a huge fan of films and TV so therefore my chosen career in barbering has also become my curse as I often find myself over-analysing on-screen, editorial and red-carpet hairstyling on male celebs. The Paul Mescal Mini Mullet has been one of the coolest hairstyle choices of male celebrities in the last few years.

Face Shapes

A well-selected haircut can transform your appearance, boosting confidence and flattering your best features. Welcome

New year new me lol

Welcome to the official Turner’s Barbershop blog - written & directed by me, Alex Turner - owner, barber and now blogger.

Turner’s has been growing slowly but surely since opening early 2022 but there’s no harm in wanting more exposure - so I thought entering further into digital spaces would benefit not only the online reach of the business it would in turn positively affect the number of appointments made at the shop.

Here’s a very brief bio for myself in case you were curious. I’m going to write in the third person for no particular reason:

Alexander David Turner was born in October 1984 and raised in Coventry (Play Up Sky Blues). After a brief stint working a very low level social media job at a very large PR agency he indulged his hobby of cutting his assorted mates hair in assorted kitchens and bathrooms by completing a barbering qualification. After grinding it out in Brighton for a bit he worked his way up to a co-business ownership position before deciding to relocate across the coast to Worthing to pursue his first solo business venture.

Turner’s Barbershop opened in February 2022 with Alex almost ten years into his barbering career. Major challenges occasionally arose (let’s not talk about the leaky ceiling just yet - too traumatic) but the regular customers have been stacking up and his personal and professional fulfilment is at an all-time high.

OK back to normal speaking now: Thanks very much for making it to the end of the first of many blog posts. The intention is to inform and enlighten the reader with shop updates and blogs about hair culture. I really hope you enjoy and as always…

Long Live Turner’s Barbershop 🩵
